Serious Gal

This little girl was so serious during our session, which Mom & Dad expected because she has a bit of a "stranger" fear. Although she was quite comfortable with me (never cried once, which Mom said was surprising!!), she still must have been a bit on the leary side because it took all we had to get her to just crack a few smiles! I know Mom was a bit worried we didn't get any of her smiling, but I can promise her there are more from where these came from! This 1 year old has not changed too much since her 6 month session...still bald and beautiful!!

Even her serious face is absolutely ADORABLE!!

The wait is finally over

for the Mommy and Daddy of this little cutie! I am sure they will be excited to see their preview on here finally! Going on vacation right after a session always makes it harder to get the preview on the blog as quickly as I like. We had a fun session the evening after Independence Day - luckily the weather held out for us!!

This sweet baby boy

had so much hair!! I was shocked to see all of his hair, and a bit jealous too because our kiddos never had that much hair until well after their first birthday! (We are still waiting for Keaton to have as much hair as this newborn did...he's getting there now at 16 months!) He was such a good baby, and even though he didn't want to sleep but a few minutes here and there, we had a great session! He has a proud big brother who was so sweet and gentle with him!! I hope Mom and Dad enjoy their preview from our session - I am so excited to watch this little guy grow throughout the next year!!

Our session

with this little guy could not have gone any better! This was my 3rd time photographing this handsome 6 month old, and he was just all smiles!! I truly enjoy watching my Baby Planners grow throughout their first year and am always shocked by how much they change from session to session! We had a great time at this session - he took a nap on the way to our location and woke up in such a good mood!!

Hope this sneak peek makes Mom, Dad and Family happy until the rest of their album is done!!

Luckily for us

the rain held off for us the evening of this session!! We were studying the weather radar all day to make sure we weren't going to be rained out, but in the end, we had such a beautiful evening for our session!! This little girl has changed so much since her newborn session and is now 4 months old and absolutely adorable, just like her big sister!

The session was mainly all about the baby sister, but how could you not grab a few of this little cutie with tons of personality?!? She was so funny - she just kept hiding behind objects (like these huge planters) and jumping out, of course surprising us all soooo much!!!

Can't wait to see these cuties again in a few months!

New Baby Brother

These two couldn't be happier to have their new baby brother!! It was so sweet to have the big sister helping me throughout the session...deciding which blanket(s) to use, where exactly we should place him, talking to him while he was awake so he would look in our direction, etc!! They loved being able to hold him for pictures - I think they would have been happy just holding him the entire time!! Their new baby brother is so sweet (even if he stayed awake most of the session) and adorable - looks so much like his big brother!!

Deja Vu

When I look at the pictures of my nephew below (especially the first one), it reminds me soooo much of my niece when she was this age!! I know I took a picture that looks almost exactly the same of her two years ago. This little guy is such a happy baby, with the cutest little dimple you've ever seen!! For those of you who may not know, my family now has 3 boys that are about a year apart each...Carter turned 2 in February, Keaton turned 1 in February and Kalen (pictured here) was born in January. I can't even imagine the kind of trouble those 3 will get into someday! We are so lucky that they are all so close - I just know they will have the same sort of memories we all have of camping and hanging out with our cousins!

And here's my gorgeous niece & Goddaughter!! Keira is Ceili's little sidekick - as Keira has gotten older, she and Ceili are more and more interested in the same things and have a blast together! Keira is one of the sweetest little girls - not to mention absolutely stunning!! I am the luckiest aunt in the world to have this little girl as my Goddaughter - I just love her to the moon and back!!
